If you had a Java-enabled browser, you would see
an image map allowing you to jump to pages having
my applets.

My 'flickery' applet

If you had a Java-enabled browser, you would see:

'Its a bit jumpy!'

Below that would be the word 'tick' or 'tock'
alternating every second.

Under that is a coloured circle with a segment slowly
increasing in size from 0 to 360 degrees.

On my browser, periodically there is a decided flicker.

So you aren't really missing much.

Because double-buffering is not used here, there is flicker.
